Hi — Tomas here. Godberry Studios is the one-person shop I run from Lithuania.
The work is small, sharp tools that let AI agents actually do things — extract, transform, publish — without the bloat of legacy SaaS. Pay per use. No seats. No meetings.
The thesis
- Agent-native beats human-native. Tools should be callable, priced per use, and boring to integrate.
- Small and composable wins. One tool that does one thing well, ten times, is worth more than a platform.
- Write what you ship. This blog is a working notebook — what actually got learned this week, not a marketing funnel.
What’s shipped
Products — pay-per-use on the Apify Store:
- Google Reviews Scraper — pull Google Maps reviews for any business in under 60 seconds. Validated across 9 countries, 97.8% success rate in July 2026. From $0.05 per batch of up to 50 reviews.
- Google Maps Leads Scraper — turn a Maps search into a structured B2B lead list: name, category, rating, review count, address, coordinates, hours. $1.50 per 1,000 leads.
- Yelp Scraper — full Yelp business profile + every review + menu + photo gallery in a single call. Worldwide (any
yelp.<tld>), multilingual dates, no Yelp Fusion API key, no 3-review cap. From $1.00 / 1,000 business profiles. - Google Play Reviews Scraper — Google Play app reviews at scale, with rating, text, date and app version. $0.10 per 1,000 reviews.
Not everything worked. Content-to-Social MCP shipped in April 2026, found no paying users, and I stopped marketing it two weeks later — it’s still listed but unmaintained. I write up the failures as well as the wins; that’s the point of the blog.
Open source on GitHub:
- mcp-server-apify-starter (MIT) — the pay-per-use MCP server starter that didn’t exist when the first one shipped here.
- awesome-mcp-tools (CC0) — a curated MCP ecosystem directory.
Writing — the MCP-era stack:
Deep-dives on MCP, WebMCP, x402, agent security, anti-bot scraping, and everything else emerging around autonomous software. New posts most weeks. Start with the blog index or pick a channel: MCP, Scraping, AI Automation.
Case studies — real output, real cost:
Walkthroughs of what each tool actually returns and the workflows worth wiring it into.
- Yelp Scraper — what one business profile costs, what 60 seconds returns, and the anti-bot reality
- Google Reviews Scraper — what 1,000 reviews actually costs and looks like
Who this is for
- Developers building with MCP and AI agents who want tools that drop into an agent loop without glue code.
- Marketers and operators who want the same power delivered as clean output, without writing code.
- Agencies reselling automation to their own clients — get in touch about API access and volume pricing.
